The services that Mobilaria has to offer have been developed to support as many different makes and models of mobile phones as possible. This implies that the optimal performance of every suitable phone has been determined beforehand so that the best combination can be compiled. In order to provide this, Mobilaria takes care of:

• Automation of the content recording
• Transcoding of the content into the desired output
• Phone recognition and matching of the best content and services

Content recording

As is shown in the above diagram, Mobilaria can be connected to the regular or a separate web-feed of the radio station. The content is processed and the portal is adjusted. Your content is then available from the wap.TunIn.fm. The specific radio player is also downloaded Over the Air and installed onto the mobile phone. Your listeners use the internal web browser which is already installed on the phone.

Mobile network

GPRS is currently the most widely available and accessible wireless technology in The Netherlands. Mobilaria has therefore chosen to make all its products and services available via GPRS. Another advantage of this is that these products and services are also available on the newer and faster EDGE and UMTS networks that are being implemented at the moment.
